Program Overview

Bridging scripture and everyday life

LIFT Students exists to provide community, practical skills, and biblical foundations to teenagers living in Southeast Atlanta. Every session pairs a passage with something a student can actually use — a budget, an interview, a hard conversation.

Nights are built the same way every week so students always know what they're walking into: time to be a teenager, time to study together, time to do something, and time in a small group with the same adults.

What we're building

Biblical Proficiency & Literacy

Students learn to find their way around scripture and connect timeless biblical concepts to the decisions in front of them this week.

Life Skills Development

Budgeting, banking, job interviews, time management — the practical skills teenagers are rarely taught before they need them.

Personal Management Development

Owning your choices, your habits, your words, and your circle — building the internal structure that outlasts the program.

Goal Setting

Every semester opens with personal goals. Staff and volunteers help students break each one into actionable steps and revisit them all semester.

Goal Setting

Every semester starts with a plan

At the beginning of each semester we spend time setting personal goals. Program staff and volunteers help students break each goal into actionable steps that move them toward the end they actually want — and we revisit those goals throughout the term.

Connection & Follow-Up

A monthly check-in with every family

Each student and family receives a monthly follow-up from program staff to check in on needs and progress. Ultimately, we want to help students reach the goals they set for themselves — which means staying in touch between Wednesdays.
