Hope For The Family is AIM's annual holiday outreach for families in Southeast Atlanta. On Saturday, December 12, parents come to our community center for a special parenting seminar and lunch — and leave with gifts for their family's Christmas.

Overview
A day built for parents
The holidays can be the hardest time of year to be a parent stretched thin. Hope For The Family exists so that parents in our neighborhoods get more than a handout — they get encouragement, a hot meal, and gifts under the tree for their kids.
Families must apply in person at the AIM Community Center on October 3 or October 4 so we can prepare gifts sized to each family. On December 12, parents attend a special parenting seminar and enjoy lunch together, then leave with Christmas gifts for their family.

Parenting seminar
A special seminar with practical, faith-centered encouragement for parents raising kids in the city.
Lunch together
A catered lunch where parents share a table with staff, volunteers, and other families from the neighborhood.
Christmas gifts
Every approved family leaves with gifts for their children, provided by AIM partners and volunteers.
Community
A room full of people raising kids in the same neighborhoods — the same spirit behind our weekly programs.
For Families
How to apply
Families must apply in person at the AIM Community Center (1966 Lakewood Ter SE, Atlanta). Come by on one of the dates below, tell us about your family, and we'll have gifts ready for you on December 12.

For Partners & Volunteers
Provide gifts for a family
Hope For The Family runs on partners and volunteers who shop for, wrap, and donate Christmas gifts for the families who apply. If you, your family, your small group, or your workplace would like to get involved providing gifts, email Bret Wilson and we'll match you with a family.
