Thanksgiving In A Box

A complete Thanksgiving meal, packed with care, delivered to the door

Overview

One box, one family, one table

For many of the families we serve, Thanksgiving is the one meal of the year where the table should look like everyone else's — a turkey, sides, dessert, and room for the people they love. Thanksgiving In A Box makes that possible.

Partners pick up a box and the shopping checklist and fill it with the meal's fixings. Our team adds a turkey for every family and delivers the boxes door to door in the weeks before Thanksgiving.

How To Participate

Four steps to a filled box

Get your boxes

Contact AIM to arrange pickup of boxes and printed checklists for your group — one box feeds one family.

Shop the checklist

Use the item list below as you shop and check each item off. Small groups, Sunday classes, and offices often split the list among members.

Pack the box

Place everything in the box, tape it shut, and write your group's name on it if you'd like us to know who packed it.

Return filled boxes to AIM

Bring filled boxes to the AIM Community Center. We add the turkeys, coordinate deliveries, and make sure every box reaches a family.

The Shopping Checklist

What goes in the box

Use this list as you shop and check each item off — it's designed to give one family a complete Thanksgiving meal. Split the list across your group, or fill the whole box yourself.
