ThriveKids is AIM's faith-based youth development program built on four foundations — identity, moral, and social development, and faith foundations — with parents fully engaged in their child's growth.

Program Overview
Rooted in scripture, built for real life
In everything we do, we're focused on helping kids learn the Gospel message and experience it in their own lives. Our methods change; our commitment to giving kids, teenagers, and families a biblically centered foundation never will.
ThriveKids runs with three hired staff group leaders present in groups every week. That consistency and structure frees volunteers to do what matters most — build relationships and serve the kids in front of them.
Four Foundations
What we're building in every child
Identity Development
Helping every child understand who they are — made, known, and loved by God — before the neighborhood or the classroom tells them otherwise.
Moral Development
Weekly virtues drawn straight from scripture, taught with real-life examples kids can carry into school, home, and friendships.
Social Development
Consistent small groups where kids practice friendship, conflict, teamwork, and trust with the same adults every single week.
Faith Foundations
The Gospel message taught plainly and lived out loud, so kids don't just hear the story — they grasp how to live like Jesus.

Weekly Template
Every week, three constants
Dinner
Meals are provided each week by volunteers so every child gets a hot meal — and every parent gets one meal covered.
Worship, Bible Story & Virtue
Group leaders use curriculum from Amazing Life, adapted by AIM, to connect the truths of scripture with the real lives of kids.
Reinforcing Activity
A group game or craft that drives the story and the virtue home — the part kids remember on the ride back.
Student requirements
- Be in Kindergarten – 5th grade
- Live in the Lakewood Heights or Thomasville Heights neighborhood
- Miss no more than one Tuesday per month
- Remain in good standing at school, at home, and at Thrive
Parent & guardian requirements
- Ensure your child attends each weekly session
- Attend the annual parent kick-off and quarterly parent conferences
- Stay engaged in your child's growth and development
